Current activities primarily consist of homeowners association, multi-family and residential property management, as well as certain other consulting activities.

Med Group is a full service medical practice management firm rendering full billing and collection services to physicians, physician groups, DME suppliers, and facilities. Other services offered include fee schedule review, computer selection consulting, personnel training and placement, EOB review, and many other services.

Associates was at that time one of the largest finance companies with over 1000 offices and with assets of approximately $2 billion. Responsibilities included preparation of all financial statements, S.E.C. filings, preparation of acquisition analysis, maintenance of adequate operating and internal controls; and all corporate accounting and general accounting functions. Supervised 60 employees.

Performed Practice Management Reviews and Consulting to Physicians Practices including software selection, review and preparation of superbills, evaluation of effectiveness of billing and collection procedures, and guidance of physician practices on improving reimbursement.

Served on committees for HBMA including Regulatory Committee, Membership Committee, and Certification Committee. Med Group Billings and Collections, Inc. has been a charter of the HBMA since it's inception in 1992 and Karen has participated in virtually all educational and business conferences over the past seven years.
